ITALY U.K. COMMUNITY & BUSINESS FORUM

Italy and the U.K. are both facing an extraordinary number of social, political and economic challenges, with increasing concerns for their immediate and long-term future in Europe and the world. This uncertainty is impacting on the lives of millions.

ITALY U.K. Community & Business Forum opens up a permanent constructive dialogue between the two countries putting their communities at its center. ITALY U.K. Community & Business Forum wishes to focus on what’s next and positive, an ‘open source’ platform for those who experience, live and invest in both countries.

Numerous MPs from Italy and the U.K. have agreed to gather in London to meet the Italian community in a two-day event open to the public. The MPs will listen to the Community’s problems; discuss potential solutions and celebrate success stories of which there are many. The Forum is the brainchild of the Italian community and is made possible by the rare availability of policymakers and institutions to listen to the people whose lives are affected by their decisions.

Promoting the Forum are The Family Officer Group and the Italian Parliamentary Association for Friendship between Italy and the U.K.

The first Forum will take place in London on the 9thand 10thNovember 2018 and will include, among many events: a business Think Tank (with focus on Finance and Travel), a reception at the House of Lords and a Q&A Session open to the Italian community in the U.K., with three Italian MPs originally from the U.K. and various Italian Associations.
